Launch and preparation of our Britain in Bloom entry
Launch Sheringham in Bloom local competitions
The regular Beach Clean takes place on Sunday 29th April. Meet at the Lifeboat House at 10.00am.
MAY
Sponsors signs checked and new sponsors signs placed in position
Plant summer bedding around the town with the help of committee members and volunteers
Committee members and volunteers re paint and refurbish all planters in the town.
Fund raising stall at the Crab & Lobster Festival
Hang the murals, produced by Sheringham High School students, on the Tank
at the seafront
Decorate the hanging basket standard with alternative displays – hanging baskets are not possible this year due to drought restrictions.
Install “Living Sculptures” ready for the unveiling in June

JUNE
Geranium Train Launch. Children bring their geraniums to place them in the train for display during the summer
Unveiling ceremony for “Living Sculptures” at the Old Post office planters

Judging of local business displays and local front gardens for the Sheringham in Bloom competitions

AUGUST
Competition for children in partnership with Sheringham Horticultural Society during Carnival week.
The Carnival Beach Clean takes place on Thursday 2nd August. Meet at the Lifeboat House at 10.00am and look our for poster giving details of the competitions.
Discuss and decide on colours and plants for autumn bedding and bulbs

AGM and presentation of awards to thank all our supporters

Planting of bulbs and spring bedding by committee members and volunteers

Father Christmas makes his appearance at the Christmas Lights switch on
